My Favorite Holiday Romance Novels

This post contains affiliate links.

Tis the season, and probably surprising no one, I have been full steam ahead on the holiday season since the week before Halloween. I’m already deep into my holiday movie list, and I’m working on my own holiday romance novel. I’m a sucker for books that take place during the holiday season and there are lots of good ones out there, but today I wanted to share some of my favorites. If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit, this is a great place to start!

How the Dukes Stole Christmas an Anthology: I’m not big into historicals, but these historical romance stories are written by some of my favorite authors, and each one is based on a popular holiday movie and they are all super cute.

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren: CLo are one of my faves and I really enjoyed this timeloop Christmas story, even though timeloops make me nervous!

A Princess for Christmas by Jenny Holiday: If you’re in the mood for “like a Hallmark movie but with banging” well then this is the book for you!

The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss: This one is for all the friends to lovers lovers out there, it leans heavily into the they were right there the whole time trope, which I absolutely love.

The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox: Part Parent Trap, part The Holiday, this is the story of two identical twin sisters who have to swap places in the lead up to Christmas and hijinks ensue.

25 Days til Christmas by Poppy Alexander: Looking for a little tug on the heartstrings? Look no further. This is the story of a widow trying to give her son the perfect Christmas. Bring the tissues.

We Met in December by Rosie Curtis: A roommance love story with two people who both have really bad timing.

The Matzah Ball by Jean Meltzer: An enemies to lovers romance that also explores a holiday other than Christmas! Yes please! Here for all the Hanukkah (and latkes!).

Nick and Noel’s Christmas Playlist by Codi Hall: Another friends to lovers with a hint of fake dating, these two warmed my heart and also other places because this one is super steamy.

Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey: Speaking of steamy…if you want steam, Tessa is always a good choice and this one is grumpy/sunshine perfection.

I’m always looking for new holiday romances to read so drop your favorites and let me know what to check out next!
