TBR: September 2022

In September, I’m continuing on with my goal of actually reading all the physical books on my TBR cart and keeping up with my ARCs. August actually went remarkably well on that front, so let’s hope the streak continues! Here’s what I’m reading in September:

There’s Something About Merry by Codi Hall: I can’t believe it’s already time for holiday romances, aka my favorite time of the year!

Lucy on the Wild Side by Kerry Rea: I loved Kerry’s first book so I can’t wait for this one!

The Make-Up Test by Jenny Howe: Always here to support my fellow ’22 debuts!

The Decoy Girlfriend by Lillie Vale: You know I am trash for a celebrity romance and Lillie and I have the same editor so I know this one will be good.

Lizzie Blake’s Best Mistake by Mazey Eddings: I actually already started this one and it is super steamy so far.

Read Between the Lines by Rachel Lacey: Always here for a book about bookish things and people.

American Royalty by Tracey Livesay: I’m taking this one with me on my trip to London because it feels fitting.

Good Morning Love by Ashley M Coleman: I got this one from a book box so I don’t know much about it but it looks cute.

Blame it on the Brontes by Annie Sereno: This one is also coming to London for obvious reasons.

Savvy Sheldon Feels Good as Hell by Taj McCoy: This one has been on my cart for a while, I’m excited to dive in!

Black Girls Must Be Magic by Jayne Allen: I really enjoyed Jayne’s first book so I’m interested to see what this one has in store (also, obsessed with these covers).

Animal by Lisa Taddeo: I ordered a mystery box from Novel Neighbor and asked for books about women burning the world down and this was one of the ones they sent me so I can’t wait to see what this is all about.

The Blood Trials by NE Davenport: This one was also in my women burning down the world box!

Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney: I’ve really been enjoying thrillers lately so this was an easy Book of the Month choice.

The Bodyguard by Katherine Center: Will I sing “I Will Always Love You” the whole time I’m reading this book? Probably.

Cheers to another month of incredible reading!
