Well friends, it’s hard to believe we’re heading into another month of reading, but here we are! Normally I aim to put about fifteen books a month on my TBR, but since February is a short month, and since I am hardcore in edit mode right now, I cut back my list just a tad. But I am super excited about all of these books, so let’s see what I’m reading in February!
I’m So (Not) Over You by Kosoko Jackson: I did an Instagram Live with Kosoko a couple weeks ago and basically begged for an ARC of this book and I got one! Subtle threats work folks! I actually already started this one and I am loving it so far.
Circling Back to You by Julie Tieu: Julie is one of my absolute favorite writer humans and I am so excited to dive into this book. I loved Donut Trap and the concept for this book sounds even more up my alley. I’m planning on getting into this one ASAP!
For Butter or Worse by Erin La Rosa: I mean, this title is brilliant and I am also obsessed with this cover. I cannot wait to see what Erin has in store for us!
In a New York Minute by Kate Spencer: You know I have a thing for New York books, so of course I was drawn to this one. This is another stellar cover that I can’t wait to crack into!
My Favorite Bride by Christina Dodd: This is definitely a little out of my wheelhouse, but I got it in a blind date with a book that described it as “Sound of Music but make it steamy” and I am here for that all day.
How to Survive a Modern Day Fairy Tale by Elle Cruz: Not going to lie, this is one of those covers that just sucked me in!
The Hookup Dilemma by Constance Gillam: This is another cover I was really drawn to, and I’m also hoping the title means we’re getting some one night stand or friends with benefits situations.
Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon: These books have been on my radar for a really long time and I never pulled the trigger because I am not really into aliens, but a bazillion readers can’t be wrong so I’m going to give it a shot!
Flaneuse by Lauren Elkin: This is not a book I would’ve picked up on my own, but I got it in a book box and it looks really interesting.
Black Girls Must Die Exhausted by Jayne Allen: I was immediately drawn to this cover and I’m excited to see what this one has in store.
All Her Little Secrets by Wanda M. Morris: I’ve been reading more thrillers lately (yay for branching out!) and I’m hoping this one is good, but not too scary.
Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins: I absolutely love Rachel’s books (under all names) and I’m stoked for this one.
Cheers to another month of stellar reading!
