TBR: June 2020

I don’t know about you, but I am relying heavily on my TBR to see me through these stressful, disheartening, and anxiety-filled days. I’ve been buying books like crazy lately and so I’ve got lots of good ones to read in June. Here’s what I plan on using to escape:

The Orchid Throne by Jeffe Kennedy: I’m looking for new fantasy romance authors, and I’m excited to see what this series is about.

Heart of Blood and Ashes by Milla Vane: See above.

Kiss of a Demon King by Kresley Cole: Immortals After Dark books have been my saviors lately and I don’t know what I will do once I’ve read them all.

Starbreaker by Amanda Bouchet: This is the follow up to Nightchaser and I’m interested to see where it goes.

The Virgin and the Rogue by Sophie Jordan: This cover, y’all.

Chasing Cassandra by Lisa Kleypas: Lisa Kleypas has been hit or miss for me, but I’m excited to try one of her more recent releases.

Crush the King by Jennifer Estep: This is the final book in the series (most recently read Protect the Prince) and I’m hoping for a strong finish.

Bridge Kingdom by Danielle Jensen: I’ve actually already read this one, but again, fantasy romance, I’m here for it.

Beach Read by Emily Henry: Everyone has been raving about this one so I’m looking forward to it.

Real Men Knit by Kwana Jackson: The title alone brings me comfort.

You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle: This cover reminds me of Romeo and Juliet so I’m in.

Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez: I’m cautiously optimistic about this one as I felt a little burned by her first book.

For a Muse of Fire by Heidi Heilig: Not too much YA this month because I need sexy times, but gotta have some more fantasy.

The Toll by Neal Shusterman: I’m so pumped for the conclusion of this trilogy I even bought a hardback.

The Trouble with Hating You by Sanji Patel: You had me at hating you…don’t judge me.

Hopefully these guys will provide me with the sanity I need to keep from going over the quarantine edge!
