TBR: March 2020

March is looking to be one of my calmer months this year (famous last words) and so I’m hoping to knock out a lot of reading this month, especially since (in my Pitch Wars fueled anxiety) I bought a ton of new books last month. I’m hoping to put a big dent in my TBR stack (again, famous last words)! Here’s what’s on the schedule for this month:

Headliners by Lucy Parker: I am obsessed with Lucy and this series and I’ve read the first couple of chapters of this one and wish I could just burrow down in bed and read all day.

Heroine Complex by Sarah Kuhn: This book is one of the many reasons why I love the Ripped Bodice. I found this on their shelves (female superhero love story!!!!) and I don’t know if I would have seen it anywhere else.

Lover Awakened by JR Ward: Don’t know how I feel about this one, TBH, but we’ll see how it goes!

The Protector by HelenKay Dimon: This one is out of my comfort zone a little, but I’m intrigued.

Rebel by Beverly Jenkins: I’m ashamed to say I haven’t read Ms. Bev before, and that needs to be fixed.

Waking Up with the Duke by Lorraine Heath: Fated Mates sold me on this one!

One Fine Duke by Lenora Bell: I didn’t love the one other Lenora book I read so I’m hesitant about this one, but I found it at a used bookstore for $1 and couldn’t resist.

Dark Skye by Kresley Cole: Gimme.

Nightchaser by Amanda Bouchet: I’m very excited for some sci-fi romance!

Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey: Who’s ready for some dirty talk? This girl.

Damsel by Elana Arnold: Picked this one up on a whim and we’ll see how it goes!

When Life Gives You Lululemons by Lauren Weisberger: Love Lauren and this title is *chef’s kiss*.

Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberly and Austin Siegemund-Broka: Fun story about this one. A couple of years ago when I was volunteering at the LA Times Festival of Books, I was working the YA tent and hanging casually behind Morgan Matson (as one does) when this adorable couple came up to have her sign their book. They mentioned they were authors and just sold their Romeo and Juliet retelling. My ears perked up because a) I love R and J and b) I was also (at the time) writing an R and J retelling. I kind of forgot about it and went on my merry way until I happened across this book recently and was like OMG it’s the adorable couple from FoB! So I’m excited to read this one!

All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace: Despite the title of this book (which sounds like it came from one of those YA title online generators) I’m interested in this one. It was last month’s Owl Crate book.

Anna K by Jenny Lee: I hope I love the book as much as I love the cover!

Lots of romance on the docket for this month, which is never a bad thing. What are you planning on reading this month?
