I have been reading so many amazing books lately, and there are so many more coming out in the next few months that I am super excited for. If I could just not have to work and could spend all my time reading, that would be great, thanks everyone. Here’s what’s on my list for May!
If the Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy: I’m very interested to see how this one turns out! It’s being pitched as an adult rom-com, but comes along with some Disney-esque tie-ins that could make it run actually more NA/YA. I really like Julie’s writing style, and obviously I love Disney, so I’m sure I’m going to love it.
Heartbreak for Hire by Sonia Hartl: This is one of those books that Twitter sold me! I love Sonia on Twitter so I’m very excited to read more than 280 characters from her!
Like Lovers Do by Tracey Livesay: I’ve been holding onto this one because I know it’s very summery, and now the weather is cooperating so I’m diving in!
Whiteout by Adriana Anders: This one is the opposite of Like Lovers Do? It’s going to be a nice chill out book when it gets too hot! Honestly, I was resistant to this one because I don’t love action and danger and scary circumstances, but everyone raves about it so I’m going to be brave and give it a shot!
A Rogue to Remember by Emily Sullivan: Not going to lie, not sure how I ended up with this one, but I’m sure it will be great!
Sweethand by NG Peltier: This cover sold me! And I think there’s food!
Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin: I see so much merch for this book I figured I should probably read it!
Open Book by Jessica Simpson: So I definitely bought this one when I was on a Target run and had given myself permission to buy books and they didn’t have anything in stock that I hadn’t already read, but I’m sure it will be interesting.
Sweet Mess by Jayci Lee: This one has been on my list for a while, so I’m excited to check it out.
The Girl with Stars in Her Eyes by Xio Axelrod: I was excited to see this one in my Ripped Bodice book box because I’ve heard such great things about it.
From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back: I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the New Hope rendition of this anthology so I’m psyched for this one.
Pride and Premeditation by Tirzah Price: I’m actually not a huge Austen fan, but this was in last month’s Bookish Box so I’m going to check it out.
Rule of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo: Gonna finish watching Shadow and Bone and then dive into this bad boy!
Goodness. So many good books, so little time! What’s on your TBR this month?
