As I sit here on October 3rd, writing this post, October has already been a million years long. Which means by the time this actually gets posted in two days, the whole world could have possibly changed. Because we’re living in a poorly written dystopian novel and who knows what disaster is going to come crashing down upon us next. Which honestly, is the reason my TBR for this month looks the way it does. I only have capacity for romance right now! Aside from last month’s Owl Crate book, my list is all romance all day, which is really how most things in life should be. Let’s see what books will be providing me with escape this month!
Star Daughter by Shveta Thakrar: This is all I got outside of romance, but I think it will be a good one.
Ties That Tether by Jane Igharo: Look, I buy every book Berkley publishes anyway, and this cover is gorgeous, and I need romance, so this one was a no brainer.
Shipped by Angie Hockman: I actually won a real life physical ARC in one of Angie’s giveaways which is so exciting because a) I want to read the book and b) I never win anything!
To Have and To Hoax by Martha Waters: Did I buy this book because I needed another purple book for my rainbow shelf? Yes. Will I still read the hell out of it and probably love it? Also yes.
Romeantically Challenged by Marina Adair: Did I buy this book because I needed another green book for my rainbow shelf? Yes. Will I still read the hell out of it and probably love it? Also yes.
Last Tang Standing by Lauren Ho: I’m here for anything that comps Crazy Rich Asians and this cover is gorgeous.
Well Played by Jen DeLuca: I don’t think this one needs much of an intro or explanation. I’m psyched.
Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler: I have been warned ahead of time that this book is fade to black, which is not my fave, but I’m giving it a shot!
Not Like the Movies by Kerry Winfrey: I hope this one is as delightful as her first!
Sweet Ruin by Kresley Cole: Guys, I’ve read almost all of the Immortals After Dark series now and I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself.
Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke’s Heart by Sarah MacLean: Still making my way through Sarah’s backlist.
You Will Suffer by Alexandra Ivy: Not my usual kind of read, but I ended up with a copy of this one so I’m gonna give it a go.
Mistletoe and Mr. Right by Sarah Morgenthaler: Tis the season for Christmas reads!
Ten Rules for Faking It by Sophie Sullivan: This is a new to me author, but the premise is cute!
The Cul-de-Sac War by Melissa Ferguson: I’ve been seeing this one around for a while because Melissa and I have the same agent so I’m excited to read.
Snapped by Alexa Martin: Technically I already read this book because Alexa is one of my Pitch Wars mentors and I got an early copy (brushes shoulder off), but I’m going to give it a reread when I get my physical copy because it was that good!
Here’s to a month full of love!
